This wedding is one that holds a special place in my heart. It was gorgeous for so many reasons. The Krassa Family are dear to me. You see, about 5 years ago when I started this crazy photography journey, the Krassa girls entered into my life. I never would have learned or would have grown the way I did without Kayla's patience as she modeled for shoot after shoot for her sister Taylor and I. To have the honor of photographing her wedding was so special. This time in front of my lens was different. This time it was 100% authentically her. I have never seen her look more joyful and more radiant than she did on her wedding day. Although I hadn't met David before I can see why she lights up when he walks into a room. They are two peas in a pod. They laughed non-stop. All. Day. Together their happiness overflows and spills out to fill up everyone around them.
This garden themed backyard wedding was perfection. The air was filled with the scent of lavender from the jars, candles and trails of real flowers that rounded every corner. Gorgeous succulents with floral accents atop lace covered tables brought an earthy romantic feel to the reception. And what backyard wedding would be complete without an adorable photo-booth corner?!
Kayla and David, love each other with the fullness that you did on your wedding day. Always dance and laugh with that endless joy and your lives will be so very rich. Many years of bliss to you both. <3
