I LOVE photographing weddings. There is nothing better. Every now and then I shoot a wedding that just gets me right in the "feels." This was one of those. Right in my-wedding-photo-lovin-feels!
Katrina and Joshua's wedding was absolutely one of the most unique weddings I have had the honor of photographing. From moment Katrina told me she would be walking down the isle in the very same dress her grandmother AND mother wore. I knew.
And I cannot think of a better venue than Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley, Arizona. Fall florals put together by the bridesmaids were the perfect pair for the vintage handmaid dresses. And speaking of handmade, Joshua made...yes MADE...his wedding ring from wood that they found on a vacation. As well as the box that will hold a wine bottle, their wedding vows and love notes to each other to be opened on their 10 year anniversary. Joshua's first look at his lovely bride left me with a goofy grin plastered across my face the entire rest of the day. Even now as I write this I am smiling.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Fitzpatrick. May you every 10 years open that beautiful wooden box, enjoy a glass of wine as husband and wife and have another 10 years of bliss.
